About SkyCast Additive

Practical Engineering. Rapid Manufacturing. Personal Support.

SkyCast Additive is a Florida-based engineering and advanced manufacturing company providing rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing, electromechanical integration, tooling, and low-volume production support.

Our focus is simple: help engineering teams turn problems into finished hardware.

SkyCast specializes in projects that may be too small, too specialized, or too time-sensitive for traditional manufacturing channels. Whether the requirement is a single prototype, ten custom assemblies for an upcoming field test, a specialized UAS payload mount, or a short production run, SkyCast provides responsive, hands-on support from concept through delivery.

Experience Behind SkyCast

SkyCast Additive was founded by Stephen Casper, whose background combines decades of hands-on technical, manufacturing, troubleshooting, fabrication, and electromechanical experience.

Stephen earned an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio. His experience spans electrical and mechanical systems, manufacturing equipment, CAD and product development, additive manufacturing, composites, fabrication, and practical problem solving.

As an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot, Stephen also brings practical knowledge of unmanned aircraft systems to SkyCast’s growing focus on supporting commercial and public-safety UAS developers.

This combination allows SkyCast to look beyond simply printing a customer’s file. We can help evaluate how a component mounts, interfaces, assembles, routes wiring, protects electronics, or can be improved for prototype and low-volume production.

Built for Rapid Engineering Support

SkyCast is intentionally small and responsive.

Customers work directly with the person evaluating, designing, manufacturing, and supporting their project. That allows us to take on specialized projects that don’t always fit neatly into a traditional manufacturing process.

Typical projects may include:

  • UAS payload and sensor mounting systems
  • Electronics enclosures and electromechanical packaging
  • Prototype and engineering-change components
  • Carbon-fiber and glass-fiber reinforced additive manufacturing
  • Jigs, fixtures, assembly aids, and production tooling
  • Replacement and custom UAS components
  • Hardware, inserts, connectors, and component installation
  • Low-volume parts and finished subassemblies

We don’t have to stop at the printed part.

Depending on the project, SkyCast can provide hardware installation, mechanical assembly, basic electrical integration, component installation, inspection, and other finishing operations to deliver a more complete solution.

From Engineering Problem to Finished Hardware

SkyCast isn’t trying to be a mass-production factory.

Our strength is supporting development teams, startups, UAS manufacturers, public-safety technology companies, and other organizations that need specialized hardware produced efficiently and in practical quantities.

Sometimes the requirement is 50 parts.

Sometimes it’s 10 assemblies.

Sometimes it’s one prototype that needs to work next week.

Those are the projects SkyCast Additive was built to support.

Small. Responsive. Experienced. Built for difficult projects.
